We have had the pleasure of photographing weddings throughout The Lowcountry in the past eight years.  We have shot intimate elopement weddings with only the bride and groom, as well as elaborate affairs at some of the most elegant historic properties in Charleston.  We always love a chance to mix things up and find a hidden gem that is a perfect fit for a couple and their friends and family.  We found one such place in the Midtown Bar and Grill on King Street in downtown Charleston.  Michelle and Wilkie tied the knot on the back deck of this venue which is full of character and a beautiful location with all the charm and history of the most popular South Carolina venues.

We had such an amazing time with everyone and were blessed with beautiful light throughout the day including the spectacular backlighting during the ceremony and at dusk.  As with every wedding, the story is always unique and we will warn you that the kids are way “too cute”!
